Ruth Ella Smith, age 92, passed away December 13, 2009 at her Beaverton, OR residence.
Ruth was born November 2, 1917 in Corvallis. She married James G. Smith who preceded her in death in 1997. The couple had three children including a daughter, Heidi J. Smith who survives her mother, and two other children, Rebecca Ann Fuchs and Stuart Smith, who both preceded their mother in death. Rebecca died in 2002 and Stuart in 2007.
Ruth was a longtime resident of Lake Oswego. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010 in River View Cemetery's Hospitality Room.
Ruth's cremated remains were placed with her husband's in the River View Cemetery Mausoleum.
