Michiel M. Harth, age 58, passed away March 2, 2010 in Clackamas, Oregon following a difficult battle for his health.
Mike was born and raised in Portland. He graduated from St. Agatha Grade School and Cleveland High School. He received Associates Degrees from ITT and Portland Community College in Electronics.
Mike's last work was a Fab Technician in the Semi-Conductor Industry. He had worked at Intel and LSI.
In l975, he married Lori Sanders. They remained close until his death, although divorcing in 2003.
Together, they had four children: Michiel Harth II, Sarah Harth, Daniel Harth and Ariel Harth. Sarah preceded her father in death in 2003.
Also surviving Mike are one grandson, William Harth and two sisters, Melody and Merry.
Mike loved music and was very talented musically. He played drums, guitar and other instruments.
He loved the hymn "Amazing Grace" which will by played at his Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Adams Chapel in River View Cemetery. The family is preparing a video tribute of Mike's life including his music. He would have turned 59 on the day of the funeral.
