Elaine Ohman was born to Ed and Anna Ohman in Portand. In 1962 she married Dewey Mallery. He passed away in 1996. She is survived by her sons, Eric and Mike. Elaine attended Tigard High School and graduated from Oregon State University in business. She touched many lives with her generosity, kind-ness and appreciation of life. Elaine enjoyed antiquing with friends, puttering in the yard, taking care of her orchids, traveling to new destinations, spending time at the beach, and spending time with her grand-children, Anna (11), David (10), and April (8). Elaine was a great wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
A private gathering to celebrate her life will be held at the beach. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 18, 2010, in River View Cemetery, 0300 S.W.
